Research Opportunities
Rutgers and the School of Engineering provide research opportunities for undergraduate students to gain valuable hands-on experience. Working alongside faculty members in advanced laboratory settings expand classroom learning. Students pursuing research opportunities may be invited to coauthor papers for academic journals and often go on to research careers or further education, earning master's and doctoral degrees.
Students interested in research should reach out to professors to learn about research opportunities. Students can consult the engineering lab list to find areas of interest or individual faculty listings to learn more about their research interests.
Other research opportunities include:
- J.J. Slade Scholars Program
- Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation (LSAMP)
- Aresty Research Center
