Optical Imaging Facility

Three male students, one female student, and one male professor working in a lab.

Mark Pierce's lab is equipped with cameras, lenses, and filters for optical imaging at wavelengths from the UV to infrared. These include high-speed, sCMOS, short-wave IR, polarization, and thermal imaging cameras.

The lab also has multiple optical coherence tomography (OCT) systems and microscope platforms that can be configured for high-resolution imaging in custom applications.

Nada Boustany's lab has advanced fluorescence microscopy capabilities for performing Forster resonance energy transfer (FRET) and fluorescence lifetime imaging microscopy (FLIM).
